We’re excited to say that 2010 is already shaping up with some new and exciting things in motion. We will have a new CD coming out and the new name of the duo will be WILSON FAIRCHILD for the new chapter in our musical career. GRANDSTAFF has served us well, but we wanted a name that said who we are: WILSON is Wil’s middle name and FAIRCHILD is Langdon’s middle name. Concert dates are being booked for 2010 and be sure to contact us through email for a concert near you. We are honored to say that we're working concert shows with the legendary George Jones this year, too.

NEW SONG on SKAGGS CD:

As a lot of you may already know, we don’t just sing songs, we write them, too. We wrote a song (along with Gordon Kennedy) called, “Make God First” which Ricky Skaggs has recorded on his latest CD, Mosaic. The CD was released August 24^th and is already receiving rave reviews for it’s different approach to music with a strong message. We definitely feel this is a special project and are very excited and thankful to be a part of it. Be sure to take a listen!

STATLER HOF Exhibit to Open:

The Country Music Hall of Fame has opened an exhibit featuring the Statler Brothers. The 30-foot long display showcases some of the more significant artifacts from the Statlers' 40 year musical career. Such items include 5 different stage suits, a box of Statler tissues, original hand-written lyrics, the orange "painted" guitar used in Smokey & the Bandit II, Lester Roadhog Moran's full attire, their first PA system they traveled with...and the list goes on. Truly a must see for any Statler fan. Congratulations guys and thanks for holding on to all that stuff!
